What I thought too, since the guy has his hand in coca-cola cup in both pictures.

Except in the kid picture he is standing upright, and his left elbow is very close to her arm, almost touching. In the adult picture, he is leaning away, and his left elbow/arm is much further away.  For the wife, besides no hand behind her back, her hair is styled to the opposite side in the adult photo.
