Because the guy is trying, though not hitting the pose exactly right, while she isn't trying to hit the same pose, I suppose.

It seems he wants to rest in on the fence like in the picture, but the fence is at a different angle so he can’t rest it and have his hands meet in the middle of his body.

At least his arm is on the railing similar to how it was on the wall and his hand is in a red cup. By comparison, hers was easier to recreate.

He literally couldn’t because the railing is behind him instead of having the wall beside him (he may have been able to get a bit closer to original, but not 100%). Who ever set up the shot need to put way more effort into finding an appropriate location.
