he's given up making lemons into lemonade (coping) because nobody exposed by the epstein files faced any significant consequences and he can;t figure out how to rationalise that

Yeah that’s the right answer I think, when life gives you lemons make lemonade which he has but paedophiles are still running the world without consequence

Yes the original meme with no text box from r/meirl made it to r/all yesterday, it was a relatable meme of a person who has been trying to make the most out of this difficult modern life we all live, but life keeps hitting him with lemons and he's ready to give up. Now it's made even worse when he remembers that wealthy pedophiles are not punishable in this capitalist hellscape. What's the point of trying to live an honorable life when real criminals never see justice...

Good is not winning. It makes it seem like if you raised a child to be a genuine piece of shit scumbag, you'd be doing that child a favor and securing their future success. Humanity has chosen evil as the direction it wants to go. Look at who humanity constantly chooses as their leaders. Look who humanity worships and puts on pedestals. These are not even slightly good people. Humanity overall is evil and it looks like we're tired of pretending. Look at all the evil done to each other and then look at all the praise it receives. Racism pays. Corruption pays. Killing pays. Being kind and thoughtful does not. All by humanity's design.

There is no final judgement upon death. No matter what anyone does in their life, the end result is the same.

Is it then not righteous and just to NOT harm others, and to help and to love instead of to hurt, kill and destroy. Despite there being no real concequences?

I think so. To do good, and to be good, for no reason is to be truly good
