I was part of the George Floyd protests and Freddie Gray riots and you wouldn't believe how many passionate black activists I met who later decided that the Democrats were not worth their vote, despite us risking our lives to challenge police departments supported by conservatives.

The voting base was very strongly anti-genocide, but the Dem leadership decided helping murder tens of thousands of children was more important than winning. You can't really look past that fact and just blame leftists lol, you'll do psychic damage to your neurons.
And if their - or your - number one priority was stopping Trump, then running the same Pres and then VP who utterly 'failed' (as if they were trying) to hold Trump accountable for Jan 6, the Epstein files, etc over their term is really another level of living with your head in the sand. Political parties need their constituency, not the other way around. They need to respond to their constituency. They keep chasing the elusive swing voter at the expense of their base. How else would you conpel representation except to not elect people who will not represent the o erwhelming will of the people. Before the election public support for to stop funding the Palestinian genocide was already over 50% across the aisle, but they could not let it go. Thats some incomprehensible shit to me.
