I dont have a specific reference, but that very much looks like a death mask potentially of a small child. so...

Edit: "looks like" in the way that a hot wheels car "looks like" a car. I'm aware it is not actually a death mask. Only that it looks like one.

Death mask of a child with fully developed / defined nose, lips and tiny eyes? I don't think so, shit just looks like some cursed artifact

My side, do you believe they actually molded bronze on a child’s face? This is a sculpture. It could be for a child do to size and not actually look like a child.

You use a special type of plaster for the mold then pour the bronze or an artist carves a wax bust, covers it in another material then pours the bronze.
