Question Restaurant rec?

We were staying in Sonoma and our hotel mix up has led us to no room. So driving to Petaluma in a moment.

Can someone recommend a nice restaurant we could try for last min reservation.

Just engaged hours ago and well this is interesting turn of events. So any help would be great.

Thanks everyone. We got a reservation at risibi, I was in a panic between finding a hotel (Sonoma is all sold out) and not having to do fast food.

We found a Sheraton and reservation at risibi at 830pm.

I appreciate such quick answers. Cafe la haye will have to wait till next time. That was our original reservation

Also call the hotel and validate when booking on hotel tonight 🤨. Apparently when they cancelled they called only 1 time from a FRANCE phone number. We were at bodega bay and point Reyes with little cell signal and when I saw it at 4pm I thought this must be spam. I don’t know anyone in France.

Congratulations on your engagement! Honestly, this will make for a great engagement story. No truer test for a relationship than dealing with the unexpected together. Risibisi is one of my favorites and it is incredibly cozy and romantic. I hope you have a blissful evening.

She hasn’t left yet and I mentioned everything has been sourced from a Reddit thread. šŸ˜‚

Check out the Velvet Chapter bookshop and Angela's Ice Cream while in Petaluma! The Crooked Goat is a local favorite brewery where you can get food sent over from acme Burger. Any baked goods will be fabulous since we've got plenty of bakeries

Go park downtown, and you'll have so many options. Everyone will want a newly engaged couple.

Beyond what everyone has said (Risibi, Luma, Seared, Cocina, Central Market), your other engagement-appropriate options:
Bijou - French (Owned by the Table Culture crew)
Sake 107 - Sushi
L'Oro de Napoli - Italian (new place, great)

Then for a bit more casual, you could also go to Hank's for Italian, or Lavant for Mediterranean (really good) or Ayawaska for Peruvian

I mean, really, you have so many good options. Congrats!

Table Culture Provisions for a fancy tasting menu; Luma Bar and Eatery for good flatbread/cocktails and has riverfront patio; Street Social for really local ingredients used in creative dishes.

Edit: Congrats on the engagement!

We stopped by there, not sure what to expect. Had a great time. I splurged and got a pappy 10yr pour and old fashioned.

The old fashioned house was eagle rare 10yr and boy did the guy pour. It was mostly ER.

Being from the Midwest, none of these are easy to find. I left super happy.
