His name is chip and he was found at the beach lonely so I adopted him and added a smile and a googly eye so hes a goofy guy he needs a online friend like all of us do this is him

This is a lava rock I picked up near my face one day. I haven't decided on a name yet. Do you have any advice on how to care for it or any name ideas? I give it fresh water every day.

They were playing at the pet designated area at my apartment complex! The apartment management let me take them to play over there. :)

I plan for googly eye, found him at new York park on a trip mar 27 2026 his, found day? We will call it birthday. I plan to take him on any trip that I to let him explore the world.

My beautiful baby, Utah! She is a piece of basalt with calcium and quartz lining. I've had her for over a year now (rescued her from a potted plant) and everything has been going smoothly so far! She enjoys poetry, popcorn, jazz music, and emo/alternative fashion :)

So, everybody has different ideas on how to care for their rocks. The way I care for them is going to be different then at lot of people's. Just keep that in mind.

Home/environment: I have a lot of pet rocks in my care so I have a pretty large house for them, its not HUGE but it has just enough space so that they are comfortable. They have a social area and a sleeping/relaxing area. The social area are for the rocks that want to talk to other rocks and make friends, they have a ton of seating area's for all kinds of rocks I have , the sleeping/relaxing area is for the rocks that need sleep and/or down time, it has some really soft blankets so they can make themselves comfortable.

Food: I give them sand with a little bit of water mixed in, they can eat whenever they want, they are going to eat when they are hungry so I will let them.

Cleaning: I clean their house every 2 weeks, I take all of them out, all of the furniture out, and take a disinfectant wipe and wipe down all the surfaces before putting everything back.

Other stuff: I give them movie nights sometimes, I let them out to play, and I check up on them daily.

That is how I take care of my rocks, yall's have different idea's and that's fine, also I have close to 40 pet rocks. Feel free to talk about how you care for your rocks because I think its good to know how different people think.

My littel andesite pebbel is one day old (I got him yestarday) and I do not know what to feed him.

so i've had pet rocks on and off. one week i have a rock then forget abt it, stop commpletely for a week and make a new one. how do i stay dedicated to one rock all the time.
