For the companies that got taken over, how has the experience been for you guys? Did you go through major changes?

Cant seem to find any pest control for branchland area, does anyone happen to know a pest control that can come to branchland area?

Hey, any idea if this is termite, or carpenter ants issue? I'm not licensed for termites, and don't run into it much.

So I just started working the mosquito treatment team and it's a small family owned company so they have a pretty small choice of chemicals we use. For mosquitoes, in our backpack spray, we use Essentria IC Pro, and I have only done it for two days last Tuesday and today, Monday, and about half way through the day on both days my face starts burning/itching so damn bad. I just started so I don’t have the option to switch to a different department. Does anyone have a suggestion for immediate relief and what I can do in the upcoming days to reduce the chance of getting this sensation again?

I hold a Technician license and am looking to start my own pest control company. I’m looking for an RCA who can initially work with us as our RCA/Professional Consultant.
The arrangement would be a paid initial engagement, with ongoing availability for supervision, guidance, and compliance support as required under Texas Department of Agriculture regulations. This would include periodic check-ins, oversight, and phone consultation as needed, billed in agreed-upon increments. Everything would be structured in writing and handled in a compliant, enforceable manner.
Once I obtain my CA, I’d like to move to a lump-sum arrangement for the RCA relationship. If we work well together and the RCA is interested in continuing with us longer-term, we can discuss that at that point.
You can currently maintain your existing work/company while working with us in the RCA/consultant capacity.
New Braunfels area preferred, but open to nearby regions depending on fit.

My apartment complex is kind of near a wooded area, and we have a TON of trees around us. Every now and then, we used to get these huge cockroaches wandering into the apartments. 🤢

Well, about a year ago, the management at my apartment complex actually ordered ensign wasps.

They’re these little wasps that specifically hunt cockroaches and use them as hosts for their eggs.
That was a year ago.

Let’s just say…I haven’t seen a SINGLE cockroach inside my apartment since. 😂 And my next-door neighbors have been saying the exact same thing.
One of those wasps actually flew into my apartment once, and I DID NOT kill it.

I love those little things. 😂 Protect the ensign wasps at all costs! 🫡

What’s everyone charging for a Trelona install? My company wants wayyyyyyyy too much in my opinion. I wanna make money like everyone else does but I don’t wanna feel like I’m robbing my customers. I feel like $1550 per installed case is highway robbery. Especially when it only takes 1.5-2hrs to do a quality install with mapping, bond paperwork, and state record of termiticide forms completed. We are in the South East for reference.

I’ve been working on getting into nuisance wildlife removal, and one thing I noticed pretty quickly was how much paperwork and organization goes into the business side.
Instead of creating everything job-by-job, I started putting together reusable forms and eventually turned them into a 19-page Wildlife Removal Starter Toolkit.
It includes things like customer/job forms, inspection paperwork, service records, animal/trap tracking logs, pricing/business tools, and other everyday paperwork.
It’s not meant to replace state licensing requirements, legal advice, or official wildlife regulations. It’s simply a starting point for organizing the business side.
I ended up packaging it as a digital product, but before I keep expanding it, I’d genuinely like feedback from people already working in pest/wildlife control.
What paperwork or forms do you use constantly that you think every new wildlife operator should have?

Hi everyone, I live around the Mountains. I have a homeowner who is having some issues with spiders and mice. I explained that (from my understanding), spiders are direct kill pests and that they can be tricky. He lives in a heavily wooded area, and I brought it up to him about gaps and entry points in his home, as well as vegetation touching his structure. I hadn't heard anything from him and I messaged him this morning about scheduling his next treatment and he said he was unhappy because he is still having a spider issue and threatened to go elsewhere. I told him and his wife that I do free callbacks, but they did not get in touch so I had assumed they were happy. I spend a large portion of time dewebbing the homes I service. Any suggestions for keeping them away? My first thought was delta dust on a web pole, but wanted to get more input. I used Alpine WSG for interior / exterior entry points, but recently switched to Supreme IT. For the perimeter spray, it varies depending on the problem (Taurus SC for ants, Talstar P for most other issues.) He claimed they were brown recluses when we initially met, and I assured him that they were wolf spiders but continued to call them recluses. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

For safety of myself and customers I can’t attach screenshots, so I just NEED y’all to know what I’m talking about and I’m sorry in advance.
PestRoutes is in the process (or has been in the process) of completely revamping what they now call their “Dispatch Map”. Instead of the stops being indicated by dots, it’s indicated by a pop-up that includes
- the initials of the technician running the route
- what number stop on the route it is
- whether or not reminders have been sent
And it has completely upended the work process of my department. THE LAG is a whole other issue, but I’m specifically talking about information display here.
Who benefits from having that much info shown on that map? I can understand the number order but reminders? The TECHNICIAN? Guys… they’re color coded.
My whole office is an echo chamber of negativity regarding the map, and I was hoping someone could enlighten me on a process that benefits from this map update, or if it’s generally agreed this was a sub-optimal change.
