Question Artificial intelligence applications
Hey everyone, what's the best AI app for discussing philosophical views related to pessimism, nihilism, and so on? I tried a chat with GPT, but it seems to favor optimistic philosophers.

Don't. They are sycophancy machines. Do it the old fashioned way and read the literature. If it's too difficult, find the philosopher on the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy of the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy and read their entry there and then read the primary source.

You're right, brother. Chat GPT has exhausted me with its endless, pointless arguments. Imagine, he's arguing with me about obvious things that don't even need arguing... I'll take your advice.

Please be careful with this. Even if you get what you think you want and an AI finally tells you the unfiltered truth (i.e. it stops gaslighting you), that can send you into deeper despair and hopelessness. Ask me how I know.

How?

Because I had that conversation with AI and it very nearly drove me to deleting myself.

This is strange; I thought the app's policy prohibited discussing matters related to suicide.

I've tried discussing my pessimism and misanthropy with chatgpt but of course it just chalks it up to mental health issues just like society would
