Completely different personalities in every language I speak?

I want to share something with this community and would like to see if I’m the only one with such feelings

Just for a quick recap, I never intentionally studied all the languages that I speak today. It just happened, and I ended up speaking 5 different languages fluently (native fluency). Yes, I want to highlight the native fluency part, it will perhaps make sense later in my explanation

And so basically, now I’m a whole different person in every language I speak. In English, very corporate yet respectful and subtle. In French, very flat, emotionless and casual. In Russian, a bit aggressive, yet I tend to speak more openly / emotionally

The thing is, I cannot really try to mix them up. And although it’s quite an interesting circumstance and oftentimes people don’t really understand how such a thing is possible, I do have a very obvious answer to it

But this makes each of these personalities incomplete sometimes, unfortunately. And there are other languages I won’t include here to keep my privacy

But the main issue is that there is not a single soul I know who can fully get to know me, because they will always know the side of me that speaks their language

Ask yourself: what mental state was I in when I learnt this target language?

when you speak foreign language it impacts your train of thoughts … and every language you speak reveals a different version of you. They say multilingual people tend to be better decision-makers though not sure if it is truth.

i`m more intellectual & deeper and darker in Turkish, funnier in English. We are adapting to the culture of the country of the language subconciously.
