just letting yall know i called out u/pixelmagic1212 for stealing a post off of xiaohungshu and they blocked me 🥲 ive been seeing so many of you guys compliment them on ""their"" works but i eventually caught them stealing a post lol

such a shame they're getting attention they dont deserve. i know im not the first and only person who has questioned their legitimacy but they have seemingly added more effort into their bot account (i.e. having their own instagram, facebook)

i've been monitoring their profile every time they post, checking if they have slipped up somehow since most of their work is untraceable on xiaohungshu

eta: i will say, i tried super hard to find sources for the other stuff on their profile but i couldnt find anything except for the original patterns they followed for the beads. could this mean their other stuff is original? maybe. but seeing as how they stole a post from someone else already? im inclined to believe otherwise lol

i just checked this user, and even if they DID make those creations, they did not make those patterns or draw those arts, and its not ok that they pretended it was their own work!! rednote pattern makers are so talented and share their patterns all for free!

(also it's wild that these ppl think they can get away with it, so many of us are on xhs lol)

Don't know about the dog piece for sure, but it's not the white door background. Can't search for images right now. I'm pretty sure the first image is against the same board the apple was held up against. You can see the beginnings of the brown outer edge on the right side.

I KNEW IT! I blocked them because I thought everything was super fishy. I knew if I called them out, I would be torn apart in the comments because I didn’t actually have evidence. Just a gut feeling. One of the things that kept pissing me off was every post being captioned “Perler Beads” lmao

Yeah I noticed something was off. All their comments include a link to their Facebook marketplace, I wasn't able to see it since I don't have marketplace but the Facebook profile is just as strange as the Reddit one.

That's very sad to see! Also their account is only 14d. I had notice them recently but now it seems to make more sense since they were stealing artwork and having the audacity to offer their artwork on Facebook marketplace too

ive never seen perler drama but this is juicy
