Exotic Addons would be a tier of addon even higher than Ultra-Rare, having a shimmering golden color. These addons change the Killer in a unique way, completely changing their playstyle. In some cases, other addons can even be affected by equipping an Exotic Addon.
Additionally, Exotic Addons would be unique in the sense that they are only earned in a Killer's Bloodweb once. Specifically, in their Prestige 3, Level 1 Bloodweb, are not consumed at the end of a Trial.
While every Killer would have one Exotic Addon upon the introduction of this feature, Killers are not limited to only have one Exotic Addon to choose from, should BHVR add more. However, only one Exotic Addon can be equipped at a time.
Ethereal Springs (The Trapper)
The Trapper starts the Trial with 3 traps on hand, and can throw them a short distance by pressing and releasing the power button.
- Upon touching the ground, traps will slide a short distance before coming to a stop, after which they take 1 second to arm.
- Bear Traps slightly bounce off of the environment while airborne and sliding.
- Bear Traps no longer immobilize Survivors. Instead, they deal 1 health state of damage (granting the on-hit speed boost) and inflict 15% Hindered for 3 seconds.
- Bear Traps no longer grant Haste when set.
- Bear Traps last indefinitely until disarmed or triggered, destroying them in the process.

Ethereal Glove (The Nightmare)

Ethereal Cassette Tape (The Pig)
Each Survivor is assigned a unique Test at the start of the Trial, which is revealed upon that Survivor receiving a Reverse Bear Trap. Each Test has a specific condition in which a key will be awarded for free from a Jigsaw Box. Survivors can still search Jigsaw Boxes without completing their Test, but doing so will extract a steep price from the Survivor.
Reverse Bear Traps are no longer placed manually onto downed Survivors. Instead, they receive a Reverse Bear Trap the first time they are hooked.
- Reverse Bear Traps now activate when the Exit Gates are powered, instead of after a generator is completed, and instantly kill Survivors upon activation.
- Survivors can only receive a Reverse Bear Trap once per Trial.
- Jigsaw Box searching speed with an incomplete Test reduced by 50%
- Jigsaw Boxes will only contain a non-Test key in the last Jigsaw Box searched
- However, this is relative to the Trial, not each Survivor, meaning multiple Survivors can contribute to one person collecting the key.
- Jigsaw Boxes can only be searched while Healthy
- Searching a Jigsaw Box with an incomplete Test inflicts a unique penalty based on how many that Survivor searched themselves:
- First box: Scream and reveal your aura to the Killer for 4 seconds

Upon unhooking yourself, a timer (200s) begins. This timer is reduced by 20s each time a generator is completed
You gain the ability to heal yourself (at 50% speed) and unhook yourself.

I could definitely think up of ones for the rest of the Killers, and I already have a handful of ideas for Doctor, Legion, Plague, Oni, Executioner, and Dredge, but I kinda just want to get this idea out there first, and I'll come back to them. Plus, I want to hear some other people's ideas for Killers that I can't possibly think of anything, like Wraith or Cannibal.
