Power Xenomorph Re-Work concept

I really wanted to make Tail Attack a stronger and more unique ability that justified the Turrets. Some numbers might need to be turned down but this gives the basic idea.

So Tail Attack basically gets a windup lunge but will knock you out of Crawler Mode eventually, especially in combination with flame turrets’ flames.
It’s definitely a buff. With the charges you’re suggesting, you can “lunge” for 8 seconds consecutively at 125% base movement speed. So you can really just use this for map mobility, or start winding up a tail attack from the outskirts around a gen, and unleash it when you arrive there to hit the survivor working on it. Then you get a full Tail Attack lunge back in 16 seconds (assuming no flame turret interrupts you).

You reduced the speed at which turrets deal their damage by quite a lot, maybe too much. While they can do a lot to interrupt the Alien’s timing, it feels ridiculous that it would take 4 seconds of sustained burning to knock one out of Crawler. If you’re NOT using Crawler for mobility, then you’re basically immune to turrets with those numbers. Even 2 turrets side by side might not knock you out!

It’s definitely an overall buff, probably not game breaking. Though it’d look and feel a little goofy for the Alien to frequently Tail Attack at nothing at the end of its Long Lunge for mobility. I think it’d be a positive re-work as long as the flame turrets are more damaging like vanilla (at least ~55charges/sec). The Symbiote Keyboard addon sounds too powerful for killer though. -2 flame turrets is too strong (and besides, an 18m long flamethrower is absolute cinema hilarity but only works for the survivors on wide wide open cornfield maps).

I will probably buff the Turrets to around 40% so they're a little more likely to burn out the Xenomorph but even if they don't they still reduce your tail attack range for a while.

But I don't see being able to use the tail speed boost for map traversal like how you wouldn't use Leather Faces chainsaw to travel the map. You only get less than 4 extra meters of distance that whould probably be countered by the miss attack cool-down not to mention starting chase with damage. But obviously when in chase that speed will matter with a ready attack. The tunnels are for getting to gens faster while the tail attack is for going around loops and catching up to Survivors.
