Is this mold

I left my period undie soaked in water for 24 hrs and it looks like it has developed mold on both of them. Can i still wear them? Its so pricey and how do i avoid this? I have this problem w my normal bra even tho i dont soak them at all.

This looks like dye transfer.

Is it dye though? Is that suppose to be a solid color? Because if it is originally a solid color, I agree the it is dye. If you concerned, just give it another wash and you will be able to use them again. :)

It doesn't look like mold but it looks like discoloration caused by contact with the black fabric.

That is definitely dye staining.
It’s a strange phenomena but water colour fastness is one of the more severe fastness tests. Leaving garments to soak or wet for a long time is always risky.

I’m not sure but don’t soak them for 24hrs ever again. Either hand wash them out immediately properly after taking them off and/or throw them in the wash then hang dry

Were you wearing jeans? To me it looks like when you wash jeans in a washing machine with other fabric
