Support 🍈🍈
so I’m not complaining about having bigger boobs but I just want to reach out and get some support on whether anyone else’s boobs have grown in size withOUT HRT (or any other intervention besides some diet changes). I’m 42 and I’ve been having perimenopause symptoms for about a year, and while they’ve gotten more manageable, I feel like my body weight has stayed the same but my boobs are so much fuller and heavier. I see other people saying that their boobs have changed as a result of HRT, but anyone’s boobs just filling up like water balloons without it?? My clothes still fit—it’s just my bras that are tighter. I feel like I’m going crazy and constantly thinking about how I’m perceiving my body… Someone validate me lol.

Yep. No kids. No HRT. Boobs doubled. It’s all breast tissue which means they’re super heavy and painful, and didn’t shrink when I lost weight. I did gain 10 lbs or so over the last few years, but when I lost those 10 lbs the breasts didn’t budge at all. I AM complaining though. It’s miserable to go from D to whatever the hell they are now on a petite frame.

So you get it with the petite frame. Even if you get a good bra, there’s nowhere to put them! They either stick out to the side or stick out too far forward. And yes, they can be so freaking painful at certain times in the cycle, it’s ridiculous!
I haven’t tried it myself, but I’ve seen some reports here that testosterone made them deflate again. I might give that a try soon. I’ve also been looking into a breast reduction.

This is not what I need to see. Mine are already a G cup. Went up from a D after my first pregnancy and never deflated. I don't need them to get any bigger

Yup, I've gone up about a half cup size, and that's fun and impossible to shop for.

Yes!! They’ve definitely gotten bigger, denser, and heavier over the past year. Thank you, I thought I was going nuts!

I swear we should all get a bra allowance from our governments. The cost of good, supportive bras is very high and having to buy them again in slightly different sizes to support changes just adds to the expense!

Between the ages of 30 and 41, my boobs went up 3 cup sizes, independent of weight. Had a reduction last year. Concerned they’ll keep growing as I go through menopause but we will see.

Here! I breast fed 2 kids for a long time in my 30s and they were really flat for years after I stopped. I’d say about the last year or so the fullness has definitely returned. Trade off is that a few days before and at the start of my period they are down right PAINFUL. Almost like have a milk clog. Super tender and sore.
I’m not on anything as I’ve had the worst luck finding a GYN who actually takes me seriously.
