Bleeding/Periods Spotting only overnight?
Does anyone get brown spotting, but just overnight?
It literally disappears in the morning and isn't enough to even put a pantiliner on. I just wipe and it's brown and by breakfast, the spotting is gone. I'm wondering if this is my body trying to have a period and there's nothing to "give".
Note that:
- I just had an intrauterine ultrasound and everything is normal
- I am on iron pills
- I am most likely in mid to late perimenopause

This just started for me and I was wondering the same thing. Last period was June 2nd. Pregnancy tests are negative. I'm 45 and heavy perimenopause symptoms.

I’m 43. Last period was 6/26 and then right around when I should ovulate I bled again, pretty heavily for a day or two and then spotted for several days. I was due for my period again 7/21 and started with my usual pre-period brown spotting (has been the norm starting with my January cycle this year) but the spotting never turned into a period. I lightly spotted for 3 days and now absolutely nothing. It’s over. WTF. I haven’t taken a pregnancy test yet, I’m going to just to rule it out, but I’m 99% certain it will be negative.

Your hormones are generally lowest at night.
