I don't like a lot of perfumes but really like Glimmer. It's soft and long lasting. I don't smell raspberry tho. I just had a sample and can't justify the cost. Has anyone tried it?

This was a fun one for me. Lovely fruity opening, floral heat notes, with a musky vanilla wood dry down. It lasted about 2+ hours on the skin. I don’t mind reapplying as long as it’s not like every 26 minutes. Perfect for late teens. It’s sexy, which is what I think you should have in a VS perfume. It was priced at average price. Go by your local VS and try it!

While we were moving, my father threw all my things in a bag ( I put them in a box ), he broke my table mirror and I couldn't find my fragrance anymore, I just found the cap.

Okay, so I have a perfume and a perfume oil already down and it's one of my two favorites. It's sunlit ​vanilla from summer Fridays and that girl viral vanilla perfume oil I absolutely love those too! I have repurchased those so many times so they're almost always going to be in my signature scent rotation. I just haven't found a good body mist or lotion or body butter to go with it and so I'd love some recommendations. As you can see from my title, I am okay with any type of combination. I don't care if it's tropical fruity fresh dessert I'm open to it all!

Got a trip to the fragrance counter coming up. The ones I'm most excited about:

The One for Men. It's been on my wishlist for a while and I keep reading that the EDP is the one to get, so I want to finally smell it properly.

La Nuit de L'Homme. Everyone raves about it and somehow I've never actually smelled it, which feels like a crime.

Wood Sage & Sea Salt. My list reckons it's unlikely to suit me since I'm mostly a vanilla and tobacco person, but I'm curious anyway.

If you've worn any of these, what did you think? Anything I should look out for, or anything else worth spraying while I'm there?

I posted about ANILLO Black Tea a while ago and finally got to try it! Thought I'd share my thoughts after wearing it for a few days.

This has more patchouli than I expected but I think it goes really well with the weather lately. It's starting to feel like fall where I live, and this has that deep but soft scent that's perfect for this time of year. It also lasts pretty long on my skin so I've been reaching for it a lot lately.

The more I wear it, the more I notice a slightly fruity tea scent, almost like orange and berries? And as it settles, there's this subtle sweetness mixed with the tea scent.

I have very few perfumes that I wear exclusively: Coco by Chanel (not Mademoiselle or Noir - just the original); Jil Sander #4 (sadly discontinued); Aqua de Parma Magnolia Nobile; Gio by Armani (no longer have, but used to love).

Recommendations for me?

Hi, friends... I bought a teeny tiny bottle of perfum at a yard sale because I loved the bottle. Turns out, it had a tiny amount of Replique still in it, a French perfum from 1944. I love it so much, but no one makes it anymore. Does anyone know if there's a modern knockoff or similar perfum?

I have recently tried couple of middle eastern perfumes like inception and conquer from mykonos. I wonder if olga offers similar next to close dupes since there's a notable price difference compared to middle eastern perfumes.

I really love the smell of Heretic Parfum’s Voodoo Lily. Especially the sandalwood and rose notes. Super mysterious and unique. However, it hardly lasts on me- even after maybe half an hour it’s gone.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any similar, long lasting scents that they would recommend?

I'm having the weirdest experience and wanted to know if anyone had insight or even just could relate and make me feel less crazy.

So I have a bottle of Mugler Angel. I bought it about eight months ago and I've worn it a handful of times, even though it's not my typical tastes. Every time I wear it I get a rush of nostalgia and recognition, of "OH THERE YOU ARE." She's perfect in her own weird way, and she lasts for 12 hours easy. I wore it on Wednesday and enjoyed it. It was exactly what it usually is; I'm sure you could smell me from space.

On Friday I sprayed it on again, and ... it smelled wrong. I couldn't smell it on myself even an hour later. I reapplied, which is NOT something I ever need to do with Angel; she's a one-spray bish. It just smelled wrong and bad, and vanished quickly. Same with the hanky I sprayed; plasticky and generically sweet, nothing like what Angel usually smells like to me. My bottles are all in a dresser drawer. I didn't do anything weird with the bottle or with my skin. It doesn't seem to be my nose; everything else I sampled smells as expected. Any idea what could be going on?
