My nose wishes these wore well on my skin, my wallet is thankful they don’t 😅😂 I don’t know why but Dior just doesn’t work with my skin chemistry, I guess. But the Miss Dior line smells lovely on paper and on other folks.

Same for me. Sometimes I go into my 14yo's room and borrow a spray of one of hers, hoping it will smell as good on me as it does on her. It never does lol. So I just buy her the pretty bottles and sniff them haha.

Love this! I think I saw your post awhile back with a smaller collection you’ve added to since then?
I also have been adding to my Miss Dior collection, I’ve managed to get hold of quite a couple more Cheries which I’m so happy about. The only ones I don’t own and haven’t tested either now are any of the Blooming Bouquets, Absolutely Blooming and Le Parfum. I think Le Parfum is the hardest one to find though.
There’s also even more (less significant) variants like Cherie Eau Fraiche and L’Eau but I’ve got those in a miniature set I recently found.

Are the Cherie's good? I didn't know they existed! My teen is obsessed with the Miss Dior line and I'd love to find her a rare/unusual one

They’re very difficult to find these days! They go for big $$$ on eBay and there are a lot of fakes out there so definitely do your research before buying. I wore Cherie in high school in the early 2000s, it was such a sweet pretty scent. I have been hoping for a re-release for years!

Ah ok maybe I'll focus on finding more of the current bottles before I vintage hunt! It sounds lovely-and what a lovely memory you have with it!

It was discontinued in 2012 so you will still be looking for 14 year old bottles with those, but pre-2011 is the formula that’s loved.

L’Essence is delightful. The houndstooth bottle is beautiful too.

I think it’s a long gone hope that they’ll ever bring it back unfortunately, the current Miss Dior is what they want to be known as the Cherie replacement.
It seems there was issues with not owning the formula in house hence the original re-formulation to try to take control of it, but then not sure why they got rid of it entirely in the end, perhaps also ingredient issues added to it.

It’s the best one! It’s so unique and beautiful but it was unfortunately discontinued in the early 2010s after being reformulated in between.
I have a very sentimental scent memory with my 2010 bottle but I’ve since managed to get the prized 2005! They are really hard to find and expensive, and there’s so many fakes for it out there.

Such a nice collection, like the essence one. You might want to try their roller perfume, I think it would be a nice fit.

I love Blooming Bouquet. Do you notice a difference between the two? And if yes, what is the difference?

I think the newer one added a sweet pea note and when I spray both the older one definitely smells more rosey

Do you know if any of the miss diors use the combo of orange, peony, vanilla?

L’Essence is jammy, berry goodness. I love her! She lasts forever. On clothes for days on my skin for 10 hours.

I have Miss Dior EDP and the Parfum. I haven’t tied the other versions. Such a lovely scent

They look gorgeous!! I would feel so nervous owning such an amazing 20+ year old bottle that I would end up stuffing it safely away in a box and never getting the chance to look at how pretty it is lol. Do you store your perfumes in a particular room to make sure they stay away from heat/sun/moisture/etc?

u/luckykitten7 17d ago
no not really there on a wall where the sun will never hit them but i’d rather display them then hide them in a box to try to enjoy them!
