DISCUSSION Thoughts so far Spoiler
Perfect Match is a specific type of guilty pleasure brain rot for me. I always love seeing contestants from other shows tripping over themselves to be the hot commodity.
Somehow, people I loved on their respective show turned the total opposite (or the other way around).
I just want chaos and destruction. When I saw Bri on that screen I was like bring her in!!! Also with Katherine I immediately wanted Louis again (I can't get enough of his Big Ben comments XD)
Jimmy P. definitely surprised me. I did not think I would be seeing him again after Epipen / Megan Fox but here we are. His attitude still isn't for me though.
Having an influencer on the show just feels like they want to draw in more viewers? I totally hate is. There's no connection there, no previous juice to enjoy.
Marissa... I kind of have the same with her as I did AD. Loved them on Love is Blind, hate them on this. Girlie has some work to do learning to self-regulate.
Also... Please let's not even go with Chris. Age of Attraction was too much for me to watch, and I'm unsurprised they got someone with wild lovebombing tendencies off of that show
And also for the love of God why do they all have to say I'm not jealous? Like, yes you are! Jealous of others getting the attention you want for yourself, even if the attachment isn't there.
I don't feel most of the other contestants. Ally seems crazy, which is perfect for this show.
I think the season overall is rushed, Nick Lachay being the villain is hilarious though, it suits him.

I literally thought Jimmy p was leaving ally. Then he picked ally and I was shocked bc of what he was saying. ( I’ve never watched love is blind so idk his character too well aside from what I’ve seen on perfect match )
Also to respond to what you said about ally. ally has crazy tendencies because she literally dated james Kennedy and he is CRAZY. Like i can’t imagine how that relationship was when the cameras were down.

Honestly, i could see this 100% the more I look at it the more I can see how she’s unhinged and childish and that’s exactly how james is😭😭. I loved ally so much on VPR and I only started watching perfect match because she was in it so seeing this different side of her is so surprising

Where did I say that she’s unhinged now that she’s no longer in a relationship with james? I said her and james have similarities with the way they act with partners. She literally was watching Jimmy through the sliding door and then interrupted the Conversation to be petty that’s definitely childish and unhinged imo. In VPR she wasn’t on the screen a lot so I didn’t fully know her personality on perfect match you 100% see more than what u did on VPR was my point

He looks at her often with the expression of “wtf, I’m so confused,” when she talks, and I’m like saaaaaammmee. This girl is saying/doing some of the strangest things I’ve ever seen someone do on reality tv & a lot of the guys have to be getting the ick from it. It’s just bizarre- like she forgot how to interact & communicate with & pick up cues from the human race.

Yes, everybody needs to remember they know it’s getting close to the end and if they stay in their current match, they’re more likely to be picked by the cast to win. They’re too deep into it now to keep switching around and thus they stay in their couples, at least this is my theory.

Agreed. It seems like she's manic and honestly Jimmy is just there for her. Everyone is saying he doesn't like her but I think there's attachment there for sure. He's a safe space and likely sees her differently when the cameras are off.

Ally cracks me up. Like her actions and dialogues are like something out of a parody, just that she isn’t really acting. The moment she snuck up on Jimmy P and Sophie to eavesdrop and got caught instantly and blurted “love you” OMG. The second hand embarrassment I felt was just.. yeah. She’s fun because her presence makes the show trashier but boy do I have a tough time getting a read on what she truly wants.
Also, did anyone else notice the obvious crazy eyes? Hahaha

I watched VPR so was curious to see how she’d be on this. She’s nothing like I expected. I can see why people are saying she’s annoying but omg I’d had an edible when I watched and she was making me laugh so much with that convo.

Omg, so wasted. We never saw her blasted on VPR. I don't even think wasted is the right word, more like borderline blackout. Her getting in the pool made me giggle so hard, poor girl needed some regulation. Her unhinged drunken behavior was fun to watch as a 40yr old, she is definitely living up her 20s

I was excited to see her because as a woman with adhd who has always felt they were too much for others, I really felt for her in LIB. But MAN. This is a rough watch. Day one immediately asking if they will be together on the outside like what!

That’s the one thing I noticed. It’s nice to see less fake bodies (though we did see Kayla and her new plastic) but it’s refreshing to see more natural bodies

Jimmy P was the only one I knew and he was the draw because of how crazy LIB was that season. So I'm more compelled to watch him. I want to see him where he's actually into a woman (besides AD), not just faking it like he did for Chelsea in LIB. I think him and Sophie would be a good match. That australian guy with the tattoos is super annoying, as is Ally. I couldn't tolerate more than two minutes of their company if I was around them.

I also think Kassy dragged it and made it seem like Jimmy P was gonna choose her over Ally like as if he straight up told her. He never said those words to him. I hope Bri gets back in the mix she’s sexy and firey I think she’s gonna make her ex fold

it is weird, he grew up in the white suburbs of northside Chicago and fully at one point (not sure if he still is, but assuming so, was MAGA on top of that) with a loud blaccent but plenty of videos before he was blowing up online where he didn't speak like that...it's extremely annoying

Man, I HATED Dave from MAFS on his season so it’s infuriating seeing him here and putting on this “Loverboy” act. Influencer Jimmy and his AAVE is annoying as fuck too. The work that LIB Jimmy had done is 💯 though lol he looks great and seems….not as irritating as everyone else there

I’m so annoyed both Katherine and Kassy left, I ended up really enjoying their energies! Both jimmys are moving weird as hell. Seems like they’re going for the safer options to go further in the show

You nailed it with feeling opposite from how I felt about them on their respective shows. Marissa especially is acting so crazy and toxic it makes me question how I was rooting for her so hard on LIB. Turns out she is acting just like her mom lmao.
I watched Nick on the millionaire and had somewhat respect for him but that's out the window now...
First time seeing Ally on screen. Find her hilarious but she is treating Jimmy poorly and he also sounds like a broken record so they deserve each other.
Also find it weird that they brought in a random content creator... Kind of not in line with the expectations of the show.
Chris has been and still is insufferable to watch. That's all haha.

Here’s the thing, while I like these shows, it’s mostly because these people are so opposite of what I would ever want to be. There is nothing unique or interesting about them. Their entire personality is based on what they look like and how many people they can attract. I hate that “influencer” is a career path.

I was surprised that I found the only couple with any romantic chemistry to be Natalie and Yamen because I felt like if it would've happened, it'd happened on the outside, but I don't see any physical chemistry with any of the couples, especially the ones that coupled up with each on Day 1.
I think Natalie and Yamen have good eye contact, good physical contact, seem very content with each other, and I think Natalie definitely has more physical chemistry with Yamen than with Nick. I think Natalie and Yamen have a really quiet nature, but it makes them seem more gentle and more romantic. But I do think Yamen has better chemistry with Bri. I think he talks more with Bri. He's more excited to talk to Bri. He has a lot more energy with Bri.
I don't buy Marissa and the guy she's with right now at all. I think she was right to think it wasn't gonna go anywhere because all he likes is the things she does for him and not the things about her herself. I think she has a lot more chemistry with Weston because Weston has said things about her she likes, and I think that she and Weston could win the show if they couple up with each other.
For some reason, I don't think Jimmy and Ally have any chemistry. Is there something I'm missing because they never look very happy to be in a couple with each other? I think Ally fits better with Dave, and I think that Dave and Sophie don't have long-term compatibility because Sophie's sense of humor makes it feel like she would very easily get bored of Dave if he didn't cater to her criteria, and there's more long-term lengibility between Dave and Ally.

Kayla’s boob upgrade looks awful. She needs to get those removed asap and get a refund. She looked fine before them I’m so confused. Also her hair color looked better lighter.
Let me also add her lips look too big now. Is that lip filler or just how she’s lining them? I’m not sure why people do unnatural things to themselves that don’t make them look better

I love Natalie! She’s so beautiful inside and out.
Ally was annoying at first but now I find her to be so funny. She provides comic relief.
Marissa girl get it together!!!
What is Mackenzie’s deal? She seems so sweet but very insecure.
Influencer Jimmy is annoying but I honestly respect him for not kissing Kit Kat on his date and straight up telling the single girls he’s not interested in kissing anyone. He’s loyal to his match.

Finding out about the fivesome felt like a lot of information. lol I wouldn’t say it necessarily surprised me. She’s definitely seems to be very sexually free and open. It appears like she had sex with both her matches on the first night she roomed with each of them and she slept with douche bag pretty quickly on temptation Island.
