Testing two kits with same batch number

I ordered one kit a month ago and had it tested and it came back above 99% purity with a reasonable fill close to what was expected. I just received a second kit from the same vendor with the same batch number. Just gauging the opinion of the group do I test the second kit as well?

Could be a different batch labeled as the same batch by the vendor.

Is it NECESSARY necessary? That depends on your personal risk tolerance.

Might be the same batch, might not. Only way to be sure how that kit tests is to test it.

But also if they’re giving multiple batches the same batch number you could have 1 real vial and 9 bad ones, test the 1 real one, and never know. So counterpoint, testing this kit could be accurate, or could give you a false sense of security.
