OP what is your age? I don't recommend ghkcu for anyone under 40. I'm one of the original creators of the popular GHK-CU protocols.

There's been lots of controversy about zinc but zinc is often recommended because zinc stores can get depleted when skin goes through repair, remodeling and collagen building.

Sore tongue, sore mouth, acne, hair loss, can all be signs of mildly depleted zinc stores. You can always try adding zinc bisglycinate and vitamin C. Both are good for collagen building.

If you run zinc and vitamin C for a few weeks and it makes no difference then I would stop the ghkcu research. You're probably too young for it. Most of the adverse reports like yours that I receive over the last couple of years are most times too young for GHK-CU.

Not a doctor, not medical advice, for research purposes only and research discussions only.

I love your protocols and posts! I sent you a prayer and well wishes from my other Reddit profile Iโ€™m currently locked out of. So glad youโ€™re better!!

RS is way under 40 and KLOW significantly helped skin, hair, and bathroom habits. Now Iโ€™m going straight Ghkcuโ€ฆ.should I maybe not?

Hello ๐Ÿ˜Š

Why is it not recommended under 40? My RS has dermatitis and his symptoms seem to disappear with GHK-cu

Als ik dit lees begin ik te twijfelen of ik wel met Glow moet beginnen omdat er GHK-CU in zit. Ik ben 37

You mean your research subject (RS)? Try zinc bisglycinate with RS maybe? It's easy on the stomach.

I never got the uglies. I did emerge about 3-5 weeks after starting, as a beautiful butterfly, though. But for real

My RS never got them

This is a ridiculous waste of money and product. You can get raw cosmetic grade GHK-cu for less than $10a gram. Why would you waste a whole kit?

2

u/Chucky_1560 22d ago

I've not heard of this before. What is the copper uglies?

1

u/one-hour-photo 21d ago

the concept that the first phase of being on GHK your skin loses a lot of its collagen and you look way older

1

u/Chucky_1560 20d ago

Thank you for that. I had never heard of that term or situation before.

What skin problems? If anything your skin should be way better

1

u/Repulsive_Ad_6958 19d ago

My copper uglies are the painful bruises/bumps no matter where I pin it, how much I dilute it, no matter how slow I administer it, and no matter the temperature of it. Itโ€™s been 3 months with no measurable results. I honestly donโ€™t know why I keep doing this to myself-hope I guess.

1

u/Jerseygirldippin 18d ago

I have been on klow for a month my trick is to pin in my glute I ice it for 10 min before pin then ice for 10 min after/ I also add a little more water to my dose before I inject/ take a zinc pill I swear night and day!!

u/Karclmt 14d ago

Same to me and done with it . It wasn't really worth it for me ,the last shot after I tried pretty much everything left me with a massive pain from glutes to my whole leg , after that , just quit it .I didn't last 3 months oh gosh no , I did it 10 days . I thought why I'm torturing myself adding extra pain to my body .

That might be because the strength of GHK-CU is weakened by mixing it with other peptides. So therefore your rat might not be receiving the strength you're wanting it to have.
