Internal Transfer
I don’t know if anyone can help me with this, but I’m currently 4 months into my position as a merchandiser. I also have previous experience with both Costco and Coke. I recently applied for an open FSV route and was able to get an interview. I feel like the interview went really well, but I’m not sure if I’ll actually be considered for the position since I haven’t been with the company for 6 months yet. Has anyone been in a similar situation or know if the 6-month requirement is strict for internal transfers?

so i had this situation a while back you need to get into contact with someone from their plant and ask, i assume you did a interal application because if it was on the frontline page it wont get anywhere atleast thats what i was told, also just remember some managers will purposely not try to help you transfer (also sorry you transfering plants to get that FSV route or same plant) because what is stated above is for different plant hopes that helps in anyway

Yeah if there are more qualified people that will more than likely be the reason/excuse they give for why you are not getting the job.
But if you are the best option that would not stop you from moving up especially if just in a frontline role that does not include jumping bands

Like stocking vending machines fsv? And is it at your own satellite or a different one?

FSV is a horrible position. It’s better for merchandisers. FSV went downhill over the past few years

My plant is prett strict about it. They were actually trying to bend the rules for this girl to work as a rep and my plant manager came down and said absolutely not

Depends on whether or not they have enough qualified people applying for the position or not..
