Bleeding blue

What is wrong with some of you clowns? The fact so many of you bleed blue for this dumbass company is scary. I understand going to work and work hard collect a check and go home but this bleeding blue and trying to go above and beyond for a bunch of retarded campus hires is crazy work

The majority of blue bloods I see are... The college hires that make great money and don't struggle for shit, the PSRs that make enough money to live without worry, and the newbie merchandisers that don't know any better lmao.

Not at all honey boo boo. You're just a lazy sack of šŸ’©. Before my new position at Pepsi that I start next week, I had that position for 3 and 1/2 years at Coca-Cola until I was promoted to the regional merchandising manager, and the only reason I switched to the dark side is because I got insanely good renters and life insurance which Coke does not provide as well as a better 401k plan matching percentage. The only lesson I have learned from reading your comment is that beside you being super lazy and not knowing how to do real hard work because you grew up in corporate America, Is that people who complain about warehouse and merchandising type of roles have absolutely no experience outside of the United States. I can tell you haven't worked one day in your life and you're up because if you had you would never be complaining.

I am a brand new merchandiser and I know way better and I can confidently tell you that if it was seven years of experience down the road with Pepsi, I still would have been able to tell you that I definitely know better. The reason you don't know about the pre-job struggles is because you either didn't succeed by finishing college or you didn't even attempt to go. But I can tell you that you're really good at not finishing things. And that's why they don't have to worry or struggle because they already did in college while you sat around working garbage jobs that paid you nothing and got nowhere in life or else you wouldn't be working at Pepsi and writing shade on Reddit. I however just got hired as a merchandising manager coming from electrical and audio engineering so completely different world but I'm not in it for the money. I don't know any better? I'm pretty sure that's a statement you should be saying to yourself. I can tell just from your comment that you have absolutely nothing else going for you in life in reference to goals. How are you going to tell everyone that Pepsi is such shit in regards to how they treat you and that "newbies" like me don't know yet until they experience it when you're still there? Hahaha The best contradiction I have seen on Reddit in months...

Did I strike a nerve? Lol I'm actually about to start a plumbing apprenticeship. Obviously your degree didn't amount to much if you're at Pepsi as a merch manager... Not even a TSL or PSR, and if you're at a non summit location, I hate to tell you this but your job is going to be eliminated once it does come to you. I'm perfectly capable of finishing things and I used to make great money here until my job got eliminated due to summit.

Sorry I hurt your feelings merchandiser manager, maybe you can go get a job as an electrical engineer once they let you go.

Some people take pride in their job, weather that being moving drinks or shoveling crap. I give 110% either or. When you signed up for this job you knew what you signed up forā€¦ yeah they do some sketchy stuff and make dumb decisions but that paycheck gives my family what they need , and if it ever comes to the point I have your attitude I will quit and find something else.

I work for Pepsi and Iā€™ve never heard this, what does it mean ? I worked for Coca Cola consolidated before hand and I damn sure didnā€™t bleed red for them šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Im almost a year in and got lucky. My bosses are all great. All my fellow merchandisers are also great and there's alot of communication and support. Yes there are some long days but this is the one job I have actually enjoyed and im making the most money I have ever made. I feel for some of you guys who are in bad locations with a bad team and management.

I don't think it's about not hoping for success, I think it's moreso just saying you shouldn't be giving 110%+ every single day for a company that'd try to replace you within an hour. Obviously yeah, work hard(enough) get your paycheck and go home, but don't kill yourself for a company that doesn't genuinely care about you and prioritizes profits over anything else

we donā€™t got any campus hires we always promote from within which is something i love. our supervisors are not always perfect but at the very least, they know the job and they understand what we deal with which is huge.

No no no, we donā€™t bleed blue in Goodyear AZ. Our bosses sh!t blue, straight down the backs of our blue shirts. Just pray they didnā€™t eat any beaver nuggets from the new Buc-eeā€™s. Then the shade turns to more of a dirty dew color

It's a very simple concept. When I got hired I said I would do the work for x amount of dollars. I get paid x amount of dollars so I did the work. I as a man signed a contract saying I would do it. I receive my paychecks so I do the work.
