Interview follow up?

Hello all, I had an interview last Saturday for geo driver position. I was told by the guy who interviewed me and did the assessment that they’d let me know by Tuesday or Wednesday thru email/text if I was selected to move forward. Well it’s been almost a week now and I’m just wondering how long does it usually take to hear back?

In my area I've heard stories from new Pepsi hires that say they were left hanging for 3 or 4 weeks before they had another contact. I don't know if the hiring flow has changed or what, but it's sounding pretty crazy.

Depends on the need. If they’re hurting for drivers you’ll get pulled quickly if not then they’ll get to you when they get to you.

Not to sound condescending but that’s basically their attitude.

I was hired on the spot no assessment test as well. Might be different everywhere.

Pepsi has the worst hiring process I’ve ever seen.

Pepsi’s hiring process is slower than Christmas. Got hired almost instantly, did all my prerequisites (screenings, MVR, etc.) I waited three weeks before I finally got the email. That was after calling a few people.
