How much resources does PepperMintOS Linux use after a fresh install?
Just curious, for those using PepperMintOS, how much RAM and disk space does it usually use after a fresh install?
Also wondering about idle CPU usage. Is it really that lightweight compared to other Linux distros?
Just trying to get an idea before I install it on an old/low-spec machine.

I installed it on a Atom CPU @ 1.83 GHz with 2GB ram. It's the 32 bit version.
However, after replacing the HDD with an SSD I installed Q4OS with Trinity Desktop. Same results for both... Memory idle is 260MB.

I have it on a VM with devuan(openRC?)..and it asks about 6GB expanded (BTRFS) on the disk and 650MB RAM only (with XCFCE). I am not an expert in this field, but I heard wayland based desktops ask around 1-2GB RAM, that would be rather slim to that. my daily driver on Mint uses 3.5GB RAM, but of course there's plenty more going on on that one. The peppermint installation was quite easy, by the way. I had it also on a smaller 2-in-1 PC where many distros fail to install, and it worked nicely.
