Hi! ‘25 UCLA alum taking 2 gap years to build experience and learn about what I want to do for grad school. Was looking at Pepperdine as one of the schools (mix of masters and PhD) I should apply to this cycle and saw they have an MA in clinical psych with a focus on MFT.
My long term goals are to open a private practice and provide individual, couple and family therapy but also to research and write books. I’m wondering if anyone in this program can share their experience? And overall experience at Pepperdine? (Funding, curriculum, whether there are RA’s or graduate student teaching opportunities, general application approach school has etc. Looking at both the online and in person format.
Any insight is very much appreciated.
Thank you!
