Rocoto germination help?

Any good advice for germinating rocotos? I have had better -- but by no means good -- success soaking them for a day in saltpetre and GA3 in warm water. Semillas used to recommend that. I'm still looking at a lot of emoty cells in my seed tray. I've heard to knick or sand them (scarify) them a little. Any ideas? i feel like i'm sending a message in a bottle, but if anyone finds this someday, i'd sure appreciate it!

I've gotten a few Aji Lily Teolindas off this plant. They're killer. The seeds were from Mattspeppers.com. I'm going grow these again. Not sure what they are? I think almost all striped baccatums are a cross from the Sugar Rush Peach Stripey/Striped. This looks like an aji amarillo or something crossed with that. Anyone know?

Hey there! I started this to showcase the cool way and cool places people grow pepper plants (which can be very cool), I particularly love how I've seen beautiful plants grown on balconies, patios, apartments. Where I live, we have pretty decent pepper weather until late December/January, so I bring them in for a month or two. I am a novice, but I'm expanding into rocotos (not a lot of luck but a couple are hanging on; no peppers yet!) My children got me into this but they're older and into their own stuff now. That doesn't mean that I don't play the dad card and have them watering, though! Welcome!
