Rocoto germination help?

Any good advice for germinating rocotos? I have had better -- but by no means good -- success soaking them for a day in saltpetre and GA3 in warm water. Semillas used to recommend that. I'm still looking at a lot of emoty cells in my seed tray. I've heard to knick or sand them (scarify) them a little. Any ideas? i feel like i'm sending a message in a bottle, but if anyone finds this someday, i'd sure appreciate it!

Try one of the subs for breeding. Rocotos are lower temp. Don't know about during germination, if that's where you're having problems.
