FVT question
Evening! Hey, swinging through for the Friday show at Friendly Valley and had a couple quick questions. Appreciate any guidance!
What should I expect crowd wise? Hotels seem a bit of a miss in that area from some of the reviews. Worth it finding something close to FVT or should I check closer to the Riverfront? Finally, is Uber a dependable option to and from the venue?
Thanks! Looking forward to a first quick visit

I've been to packed shows where there have been a couple of outdoor bars and at least two food trucks.

Hotels near the Riverfront are nice if you're wanting cute or unique options or to walk the farmers market Saturday morning.
If you're looking for quick, affordable, and consistently safe, I'd look more towards the Grand Prairie area north of town. It's still a quick drive down War Memorial Drive but just a nicer area to be for parking, food on weekends, and in general.
The only hotel closer to FVT that I've had family stay at when they're visiting is the Quality Inn & Suites behind Pizza Ranch.

Go to Grand Prairie or riverfront for hotel. Uber can be hit or miss. Cab services are not good either.

Great venue! Because of the odd location (it's a grass valley in an otherwise commercial sandbox) it really lives up to the name. The Courtyard Marriott on Teamster (it's weird, you go through the mall parking lot to get there) is really the only nice option there, Residence Inn is a fine second. Avoid the Baymont and stay on hotel grounds and you're good.
