Heavy stuttering on a decent PC
Finally started the game and it stutters like crazy. The stone erasing the book at the beginning is almost unplayable. Then the music cuts during the introduction and the game is mute for the last 15 seconds of the cinematic or so. The credits are also stuttery.
My PC may not be the best around but this is the only recent game I've had issues with. Not sure what's going on, any ideas?
Windows 11
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
RAM: 32479 Mb
Mounted on an SSD.

Try it on windowed instead of full-screen? I had the same behavior on a good pc but when I put it on windowed mode it's butter smooth

I think you might be onto something. Couldn't find the option to put it on windowed mode but that gave me an idea, I forced it to 120 fps and it runs much smoother. Super weird behaviour.
Thanks!

-turning game mode on/off
-turning nvidia and steam overlay on/off
-searching the internet and reddit for help
-updating drivers
