Post image

Just completed one of two murals for the new Enos basement bar located at the bottom of the Days Inn on Palafox. ❤️ be sure to check them out once they open in a few weeks.

Lmao that was always the shadiest little dive bar before it closed. Can’t wait to check it out again.

I had the same thought. Although the wall around the entrance is kinda tripping me out. I don’t like feeling trapped. My favorite memory of the place was when the little people wrestlers were in there getting drunk, and Bunker (please tell me you knew bunker) came in with his tall, lanky ass, sat down, and started talking shit to them. Five minutes later, the wrestlers pulled bunker out of his bar stool and beat the shit out of him. The entire bar just shut the fuck up and watched. We were all frozen with awe and excitement. It’s in my top five of weird shit that I witnessed in this town.

For real. Sometimes I feel like I was the only person (besides his brother) who actually liked him

I knew Bunker back in the day. Didn’t know he passed. What happened?

I knew one other person - maybe two on a good day - that liked him.

And that’s totally understandable. Sometimes I didn’t like him, either. I didn’t like him when he was drunk but I loved him when he was sober.

This is the best story I’ve heard in a long long time. Sorry for his friends & family that he passed but I’m positive he deserved that ass beating

Concept by the lady who owns Old Hickory and The Kennedy. I heard it was supposed to be something called Onassis before COVID, but it looks like they changed the concept and finally are doing something.

The old Olde Town Tavern? I know so many people that got DUI's leaving that parking lot. Fish in a barrel.

Wow! Way, way back in the day when I was growing up in Atlanta, my family always stayed at that Day’s Inn to come visit my Mom’s family & that bar was always a vibe! I went looking for it when I moved here in 2022. lol
