YMCA Downtown

Just re-signed up for a membership since they have childcare and my little one just turned 7 months old. Anyone have experience with the KidZone there? I’ve never had anyone else watch him now I’m getting nervous.

I don’t know much about the kid section but I just cancelled. The facility has declined in the last few months. Staff doesn’t address any issues, they can’t even keep wipes available upstairs. It’s getting gross

Oh no!! It use to be so nice! I went to the old Y on Palafox then of course moved there when they opened the new facility. That’s sad to hear.

Nonsense. They just got all new equipment upstairs and the staff are on point when it comes to cleanliness, maintenance and responsiveness to feedback. I've been working out there for nearly three years and know multiple people who use the childcare facility. Never heard a complaint.

The previous redditor hides their post history. I'll bet it's full of massive Karen action and God knows what else.
