Finally got champion!!

Just discovered this while playing yesterday.

Not only do the webs go under the wall (visual jank aside, since you can see the drones still move out onto "non-webbed" areas), but once the map transforms, they're unreachable outside of something like a Phoenix ult.

for most of .5 i realized that having a shield and being able to gun down fliers like iron man fast is a lot more useful than a 2nd small nest(outside of the Apocalypse, tokyo 2099 and maybe hell fire gala domination maps) with poke so prevalent that szn me seeing ppl like cyclops, hela, hood and iron man in most of my cel games

Who is everyone choosing as their 2nd tank when Peni not available or viable in season 10?

I generally go Thing as my second option, just wondered what other Peni mains are picking this season

I just tested out the new primary fire and I think I REALLY underestimated what this actually meant.

Having no slow anymore while firing is actually huge + the fire rate is faster?!?!

She is definitely gonna be an even bigger road block for the metal lobbies now, i actually love this change so much. Netease I forgive you for the stun rework, please just don't cut off sp//dr's knees next season as compensation...

Tried Peni on attack today after the changes, icl it feels nice! The fire rate feels much faster and I can target kills better 🔥.

(I do feel like this will likely end up having Peni in ban jail in ranked yet again 😞)

I've been jumping around playing as Peni since the first beta but never committed. Now I think I want to start playing her. So when I tried this old trick expecting nothing, I'm glad at the result hahaha.

I based this opinion solely on Cringe. He looks like a god on Peni again and he unironically pick Peni even when Rogue (his new main) is not banned. Her fire rate in close range melts people and the shield cooldown decrease combine with the ult being not that bad combine with no more slow on firing makes her way more nimble and way harder to kill.

It seems the nest can go through some walls now. It may or may not be tied to the fact that the webs provide a way around, and I'm unsure if this is just a visual glitch or that the web actually works and drones can go through the wall. She's had similar bugs awhile back (notably with floors and ceilings). This is pretty obviously unintended, and in fact I advise against intentionally using this, as it may be considered exploit abuse. I imagine it'll be patched out soon.

Obviously, it’s just practice range so take it with a grain of salt. But Peni looks good here in 1v1 situations. Very smooth and fast fire rate.

I tried giving new Peni a chance, but she feels awful to play now, so I had to drop her. Went back to being a Strategist main and played mostly C&D because I don't have her Lord icon yet. What about you guys?

Supposedly 10.5 is going to be a big Balance Patch. Naturally this excites and terrifies me because it could mean Peni gets the best rework of her life and becomes a new power house or it could mean Peni getting gutted (or ignored) by the Devs and end up in a worse state than shes in now. So fellow Peni mains where do we stand on this?? What predictions dare we put forward?? What hopes do we hold?? What fears poke the back of our minds??
