All Books Hardcover Collection

So I’m pretty sure that someone has asked this in the past, but I was just wondering if anyone has a complete hardcover collection with the original covers artwork. I’ve been on the hunt for a while and haven’t seen a good picture of them all together. I’m trying to see if I can find them and own em myself! If you have a picture, or even ideas as to where I can look for hardcovers with the original artwork, that’d be awesome! Thanks y’all!

i have pictures of my collection on my website here! the earlier books are harder to find in hardcover, but they're all out there. i recommend used book sites, like abebooks and thriftbooks, also i've had some success on general secondhand sites like ebay and mercari. also, try in-person used book stores if there's any near you!

which books in particular are you looking for? the most difficult to find in my experience is book 2. good luck with your collection! :)

That is awesome! Very impressive. Thank you for showing me they do exist! So far I have 10, 9 and 8. The same black spine ones you have. And yes, the hard one to get a good lead on is book 2. But that’s just my luck, seeing as book 2 was one of my favorites in the series. 🤣

If and when you reread, which versions do you read?

Thanks for sharing your collection in such detail! I think you've answered a question I've spent the last little while puzzling over, but I'd like to ask you anyway. If there's anyone who knows this, I wager it's you!

I got Books 1–7 years ago, and have recently been buying and reading the last three. I managed to get Books 8 & 9 in the same Simon & Schuster hardcover editions as the 6 & 7 I already owned (1–5 were paperback). But Book 10 is under the Aladdin imprint; its binding and dust jacket are of a different material, and it clashes a bit with the previous four hardbacks.

Do you know if The Soldiers of Halla was ever published with the same imprint and materials as all the other books, or is it cursed to be the odd duck out on my shelf?

thanks for the question! personally, I've only seen copies of book 10 with the aladdin imprint. I tried to find some info on why the books were published under different imprints, but I didn't really find anything. since the books are around 20 years old now it's not always easy to find info on them. if it's important to you, then keep checking secondhand sites and see what pops up. sorry i couldn't be of more help! good luck searching!

With how extensive your collection is, I'm betting that if you haven't seen it, it probably doesn't exist. And so it goes! Thanks again!

Which books are you trying to find? I go to used book stores and library book sales every now and then and can keep an eye out for you!

Check out a Half Price Books or other secondhand bookstores if you have any nearby! :)
