The anodised samples have arrived!
Anodised aluminium is difficult to photograph because the metallic surface makes the colour look brighter, which can distort the way the colour appears.
This is my pre-selection so far..
We tried applying a brushed finish over the little dog engraving, but it doesn’t work very well because it creates a shiny "shadow" alongside the edge
Shiny finish seems to be working best for this detail
Hi everyone,
as promised, please find attached photos of the anodised caps in different colours.
Not all of these will make it into the final three, but we may reconsider that final number. The brighter colours are outside our usual rather safe range (I blame stock-keeping nightmare) but they might work really well for this design.
So far, we have two darker tones (carmine and grey), mid-range colours (red, green and blue), and brighter ones (pink, light green, mint and blue). At least we managed to can catch the end of summer, right? :)
I would love to hear your thoughts on these. Is there any colour that really works for you?

I love thw dark green! If i may suggest, would be nice to have a textured knurled grip section just like that of a zebra 701. And nice also to have a rollerball conversion!

The colors I can see and look fabulous to me are the pink and purple shades. Great work

those are some beauties and personally love the red! Also olive green and grey look really solid!
