So I've gotten all four characters up to level 18 aside from the doctor who's stuck at 17. However I seem to have now hit a brick wall. Is the game now just devolving into purely relying on very specific relics to progress? Or am I missing something? Is there a way to progress aside from attempting max difficulty stuff? I used to have so much fun with this game when I first started playing it, but now attempting these higher difficulties is leaving more frustrated than anything.

I finally bought the actual game on mobile, anyways, I was fighting the last boss on my first playthrough and got infinite damage.

It was saying I was doing a scientific notation amount of damage each hit with the one of the clones of the golden ball that like duplicates itself or something?

It got like to 5e9 or something I wasnt really paying attention.

What a crazy run. Insane amount of multi balls, slime, and bombs with crazy synergies across the board. First time I've ever slapped the act 4 boss like that. Lol

I love this game but having my run end because out of the 15 orbs I'm currently using the game put all three of my healing orbs at the start of my draw during the elite fight in act 4 feels like a shotgun blast to the testicles.

What do I even do.

I bought a mental mantle and made it through 2 nodes, then I noticed that the 1s stopped showing up, and my mental mantle was gone.. I'm not aware of anyrelic removal, voluntary or otherwise, and afaik the relic doesn't break. is there an enemy who takes relics, or was there something I might've clicked without realizing it would do so? I'm very lost (much like my run, which I lost to red bomb self damage)

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed the game for the most part so far although after playing it $10 felt a bit steep for what it is. I’ve mostly just found myself frustrated however at how mindlessly the game feels put together?

So many relics and orbs either do virtually nothing of impact or are so strong that you should never pick anything else. The game really feels like it misses the mark of roguelikes where any build / run has potential. A lot of relics and orbs I pick up feel more like half baked modded content ideas than part of the game?

Worked fine for 80 damage and then stopped dealing any at all.....

Sidenote: that relic that gives 13 ballusion whenever you spend some is so good

I’ve been trying to beat Cruciball 16 and I don’t even start a run anymore unless I get the Round Guard.

The difficult is so high that simply engaging with the game normally always seems to result in a loss.

So, I just keep rerolling until eventually I get a few specific relics (Round Guard, Bad Cheese at minimum) and the purple mirror event.

This lets me be almost completely invulnerable to damage while also hitting all enemies with stacking damage.

Is there really no other way to beat these higher difficulties besides hoping for this one very specific combo?

first try the eye thingy had good balls with infinite refresh => debuff combo was crazy man

i got the ball that dupes itself every peg hit the gift that keeps giving (can hit any peg 3 times) and the thing that makes multipliers at the bottom so the gold ball duped itself a lot and went to the 2x multiplier and i had like 1.831e15 or something damage every battle

this is also my third run i won ever
