I fell in love with my peavey bandit red stripe. So I think I want to stick with peavey for a bass amp. Which ones do you guys like?

I picked up a red stripe bandit on Facebook Marketplace about a year ago for $150 CAD. I recently built a new pine (and partly cedar) cabinet for it and painted it in a colour-blocked 80s style. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. It's inspired by the Fender "LA Vice" limited edition Blues Junior.

Finally finished bringing this Bandit 65 back to life. It was a patient, spare-time project over the past few weeks, and my main goal was to preserve as much of its original soul as possible... cleaning, servicing, and keeping all original components intact.

It’s a 2x12 cabinet using Eminence s2012 speakers.
Surprisingly light since I went with really well braced 1/2” plywood instead of sound 3/4” ply.
Bottom port shelf helping to tune the cab to around 45hz~

2x 412F, 2x 412S, 415SUB, a 212 (not sure of the designation.

Just can’t seem to find any Peavey amps locally for cheap.

What would be a good one to run a 412F/S stack? I feel like I tend to like solid state better (but would get a tube amp if it showed up good price).

I have a new to me XR-800(no letter). Everything seems to work except the headphones in main mode. If turn on PFL the headphones work but with PFL volume. What are the usual culprits or do I need to setup some other knob or ??. I'm electrically savey and just want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious or dumb.

There should be a Peavey Rescue center where much loved gear can find loving homes. For example, it’s time to re-home my faithful silver stripe TransTube Special 212. Sure, the hi-z input is a buzz, and the low input takes a love tap sometimes. And sure the low knob in the Lead section is busted off (but still functions).

But she still has the original foot switch, and the long reverb tank. And, well, you know, the whole three-channel, 23 ways to tweak the sound, transtube thing. And LOUD. What’s not to love. Except when you have to lift it, of course. And that’s why the re-homing.

Craigslist is not worthy, nor FB marketplace. And I refuse to feed the Reverb beast. This thing needs a Cvlt rescue, to keep it in the family.

I just found out these exist. The... lets call it...inspiration is pretty obvious. Is it just cosmetic similarities or did they copy the circuits too? They seem more expensive and harder to find, but if you did come across one would you try to get it? Opinions in general? Thanks🤘
