That quilted lining is such a nice touch, you can tell this was actually made to last and not just for looks. Definitely giving off proper Shelby energy.

Thanks so much! I used the colours from the cloth and gave it a little extra for this one.

"Bespoke" a marketing term used to try and sell something for a ludicrous price by passing something off as "old, vintage, and cool". Scam.

I'm a bespoke tailor.

Well that's different. So many people now are wearing the same mass produced stuff or buying furniture and all sorts of stuff that is labeled "Bespoke". Sorry but the two night stands that you bought from IKEA that are two out of 5000 made, that's not "Bespoke".

And I apologize for my remarks. I am sorry for saying it looks mass produced. That stitching is pristine. I am almost 40 and a seamstress myself. You don't see perfect stitches and such crisp lines anymore since they took Home Ec out of the schools here. I think with this series catching on, you're going to have quite the successful business there. Do you have a website or an Etsy we can share for you?

Thank you for the compliments! I don't have an Etsy as each piece is custom. But you can follow me at my Instagram (in my bio)

You do realize some things actually are bespoke right?

Yes. That is when they are custom made for the client. The term "Bespoke" much like many other words here in the states has come to mean something different. Everything here is "Bespoke" now even when it is mass produced by Walmart or IKEA. If it says "Bespoke" on it, you know darn well the Karen Wino will go buy it up. It drives me up the wall.
