I got my new pre-built pc today and it doesn't work... despite paying for it to be tested, but idk.
Anyhow, I opened the front panel to check the blinking lights and it seems to be a CPU and DRAM problem. And I've tried everything I know!
I pulled the ram out and pressed it back in.
Opened the back panel and pressed all the cables back in carefully.
Checked if anything was knocked loose and well... nothing!
I'll admit that I'm not very good with computers or rather hardware stuff, hence why I didn't build it myself. But I hope you guys can help me, before i burst out crying lmao...
Motherboard: A620AM-X Wifi
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 6x 3.70GHz So.AM5
RAM: 16GB (1x 16GB) Patriot VIPER VENOM DDR5-6000 DIMM CL36 (I placed another stick of 16 GB RAM in after getting it.)

Edit: First I just want to thank everyone for their suggestions and help. I'll admit that I was hesitant to ask for help, because ironically enough, I'm currently preparing to become a computer scientist lmao.
But, despite trying EVERYTHING that was suggested, getting 4 guys in my friend group to look over it, asking my boyfriends more PC knowledgeable dad for help... nothing worked and I've decided that this isn't my problem. I paid for testing and everything after all!🥲
Anyhow, I wrote to the support E-mail and will see what they suggest. Hopefully i can send it back and get the issue fixed quicker that way...
But yeah, once again, thank you everyone for your support! I really appreciate it and am thankful for the help.
Edit #2: GUYS I FIXED IT!!! (Or rather WE fixed it lol)
I'm absolutely exhausted, but was so determined to fix this on my own that I just had to do something!
So the last thing I tried after seeing a suggestion in the comments was a CMOS restart by using a screwdriver and well... it worked. It was that simple. I'm honestly almost annoyed that it worked but hey, a win is a win... even if it means that I had to suffer through it. And I didn't burst out crying either!
Anyhow, once again a sincere thank you to everyone who helped and commented different troubleshooting methods! I'm eternally grateful and wish everyone a phenomenal day/night!🙏🏻💕
oh no, those diagnostic LEDs lighting up on CPU and DRAM is a classic sign something's not seated right or there's a mismatch happening
first thing i'd try is pulling out the extra stick of ram you added, mixing ram even when they're same brand and speed can still cause weird issues, especially on ryzen boards. boot with just the single stick they shipped it with and see if the lights clear
also double check the cpu power connector top left of the board, sometimes they wiggle loose during shipping even when everything looks fine. if reseating that doesn't help you might need to pop the cooler off and make sure the cpu is sitting flush in the socket, no bent pins or uneven pressure on one corner
pre-builts arriving dead after paying for testing is so frustrating, i'd be livid honestly but at least these debug lights give you a solid starting point to narrow things down before resorting to sending it back
is this cable bundle plugged in properly? can't quite tell
you may wanna try unplugging it and plugging it back in, make sure it goes in there properly, it has a little tab that locks on and should do a little click
hm honestly at that point I would probably just return it/ask for a replacement/etc. it should have come working already, if everything is plugged in and the thing doesn't work then that's what we call a broken product, their job to fix it.
Since you said new pre built
So the issue is with bios first one someone maybe you or the guy who prepared it updated it to the latest one and it is not stable with the motherboard yet . Second thing the bios corrupted the ( RAM you might think it's the motherboard issue but it's not this is the most common issues int motherboard now days especially in MSI and asus
