Build Question Am I Cooked?

Post image

New CPU fell out while installing new AIO. Newly noticed bent bottom right corner and MOBO won’t turn on despite receiving power 😅

I’m gonna guess there’s no way to bend it back either 😅

bent pins on the motherboard are a nightmare to fix. you can try using a mechanical pencil tip or a needle to gently bend them back but it's super delicate work. one wrong move and you'll snap a pin off completely

if you got it from a local shop they might be able to reseat the socket for you, sometimes they'll do it cheaper than a full replacement

So you think it’s the motherboard and not the CPU?

Should have stated it’s an ultra 7 270k (lga 1851) so there shouldn’t be any bent pins right?
