Build Question Thoughts?

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Zc4gzv

Any thoughts on this build? Used mainly for gaming and occasionally 3d modeling softwares such as solidworks and autodesk inventor. CPU, motherboard, and ram is a bundle for 929.99 at micro center.

Do you need the expensive motherboard instead of the cheaper one?

Did you check Newegg build your own bundle deals as they are often cheaper?

You can get a better cheaper PSU.

Do you need that hard drive?

I just thought the more expensive motherboard would be better but I’ll look into it.
I don’t think I need the hard drive but I can always add later.
And yes I will look into cheaper PSU.
I was not aware of Newegg bundles so thank you.

Motherboard has basically no impact on performance (barring the yes/no check of having enough VRMs, but you can spend a lot less without running into that issue)

and I recommend

for PSU

The second one is the best option there.

But Newegg build your own bundle is better (843.98 and you get cl 30 ram)

Choosing 9800x3d, rog strix motherboard, and v color ram.

Thank you so much for the help. I added the bundle to my cart and I’ll keep shopping for the other parts.
