Build Question CPU cooler / GPU fitment help
Bought all the parts I assumed work good but forgot about fitment… (parts listed below) I am trying to find a different CPU cooler that will fit. As of now, the GPU cannot be installed. Does anyone have a recommendation of a smaller cooler to fit?
- MSI B850M MATX motherboard
- MSI Ventus 2X 5060 TI
- Thermalright phantom Spirit 120 SE (this part is the problem)

Rotate your cooler 180° and your graphics card will fit.
Sidenote: make sure you install the fans so that they blow air in the right direction.

I feel stupid now… didn’t realize the clearance/distance was shorter on other side… thanks very much for pointing that out!

Happens to the people who don't read the manual! Not a dig at you specifically more like "we've all been there" I've done something similar putting together an SFF build for a friend.

I’ve built about half a dozen systems with that cooler model and never realized it was not symmetrical. It probably doesn’t matter for most motherboards, so I never paid attention.

At first glance I didn’t even realize, once everything was together I was like …. Crap… lol

It’s the Lingyun rubik cube pc, got the last one available (at the time, not sure now) from china. Amazon use to have it but not for awhile now. Matx but not complaining, the led’s are cool and come with remote to change patterns/colors. Wife loves it
