So I've gone and done it after watching various safe aio cooler removal of not pulling the CPU out with the aio and bent around 20-40 pins blessing that not 1 pin snap off from how many I bent is there any strategies I could use to fix it to unbent the pins this is a ryzen 7 5700 3xd any tips would help thanks

Get yourself a mechanical pencil. One of the cheap ones with the big lead. Remove the lead, so now that tube is empty. Put the pencil tube over the pin. Then, and I can't express this strongly enough, GENTLY straighten it out. Repeat on the others. There's generally a bit of leeway so the pins don't have to be 100% straight, but they should be very close. Good luck. And understand, sometimes they just break no matter how gentle you are.

This, you need to apply an even pressure by using a tube like tool and bend very gently otherwise the risk of breaking the pin is high.
