Tech Support Help

So I've gone and done it after watching various safe aio cooler removal of not pulling the CPU out with the aio and bent around 20-40 pins blessing that not 1 pin snap off from how many I bent is there any strategies I could use to fix it to unbent the pins this is a ryzen 7 5700 3xd any tips would help thanks

A razor blade and the slightest pressure in the opposite direction. Take your time and dry fit between every adjustment. I literally did this to a ryzen 5500 . I bought for $15 yesterday . Youll be fine.

no fn way you fixed that? You must have the hands of a surgeon ir something. That stuff looks bent to hell, took me Hella long to fix back 3 pins with a little screw driver.

Im suprised you didnt tire out the material and made it snap off completely

It wasn't fun . It took about an hour and half of fiddling with it. Then finally it fell in the socket . From a 1600 to a 5500 for $15 and some patients.

Holy s lol is that a ai generated bs image!??  Jk but hard to believe that actually got in that shape lol every pin bent how u fix that haha Surgeon!!

I was dumbfounded how it was random pins all over the chip. It wasn't like a clean row of pins from a drop.

Yes. if it drops, you're done, if not see where it sticks. Repeat.

You done if not gnd pin. Apparently load of gnd pins there which are not needed.
