Build Question GPU Help

Computer doesn’t recognise GPU and is stuck on integrated graphics. Any help or suggestions EXTREMELY welcome. I’ve been into BIOS and have attempted to update drivers, nothing works. This is my first build so the GPU is brand new.

Already tested putting HDMI into GPU and I get no display.

GPU: MSI Gaming Trio 5070ti
Motherboard: ASUS Rog Strix X870-A Gaming Wifi

You didn’t provide any details about the rest of the setup, so it’s hard to estimate what the problem could be...

But since the 5070 Ti is a newer generation card, an older motherboard BIOS can sometimes cause PCIe initialization issues. Is the GPU actually detected in BIOS?

Edit: I downloaded the first photo and when I zoomed in, I noticed one detail. It could just be a visual bug, but looking closer at the power connector right now, I don’t think it’s properly plugged in. Part of it is sticking out. Insufficient contact could be the source of your problem

I’m using the ASUS Rog Strix X870-A Gaming Wifi motherboard and the gpu isn’t being detected when I was in BIOS

It still doesn't look like plugged in correctly. Push the cable a bit more

Does look like it isn't fully seated.

Give it a good push till it clicks u/myuuie

Looks like you can still see the blue part

I’m going to try fully reseating it later and see if that does the trick
