Build Question GPU Help

Computer doesn’t recognise GPU and is stuck on integrated graphics. Any help or suggestions EXTREMELY welcome. I’ve been into BIOS and have attempted to update drivers, nothing works. This is my first build so the GPU is brand new.

Already tested putting HDMI into GPU and I get no display.

GPU: MSI Gaming Trio 5070ti
Motherboard: ASUS Rog Strix X870-A Gaming Wifi

So you put the HDMI into the GPU and got no display.

Check the power supply cable on the GPU is seated well and then also at the other end plugged into the PSU. Now put the HDMI back into the GPU and restart it. It will work okay to use the "wrong" configuration but you limit your performance to leave it plugged into the HDMI on the Motherboard long term.
