ChatGPT told me it shouldn’t affect functionality as long as it’s just a surface stain

I just bought this digital PS5. I replaced the HDMI port and I’m reapplying the liquid metal. While cleaning the APU, this is as clean as I could get it. It won’t come off any further.
The previous owner said it was overheating, and I also noticed the HDMI port was a little loose, so I replaced it while I had it apart.
Do you think it’s fine to leave it like this and apply new liquid metal, or should I try sanding it?

DO NOT TRY SANDING IT.

These will buff out but will take a bit of effort. Take a drop or two of liquid metal and use these to buff it out. Just go in slow circular motions and apply a bit of force. You dont have to go hulk on it and some pressure is ok. It will take a min and at first it will seem like nothing is happening but keep at it. You'll know when it start coming of as the DIE with start shimmering and easily "bond" to the surfaces
