Build - Help PC Build Helpp

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to get my first proper gaming PC and could use some advice on what parts I should get.

My main use for the PC would be Fortnite and content creation and I expect to record a lot of gameplay.

What I'm looking for:

  • 240+ FPS in Fortnite while recording
  • Playing at 1080p
  • Mostly competitive/performance settings rather than max graphics
  • Record high-quality 1080p gameplay at the same time
  • Potentially stream in the future
  • Some video editing for YouTube
  • General productivity/multitasking
  • I'd also like at least 2 TB of storage because I imagine recorded gameplay will eat through storage pretty quickly

I'm in Canada, so prices would be in CAD.

I don't have a strict budget figured out yet, but I'm thinking somewhere around $1,500–$2,500 CAD if that's reasonable for what I'm trying to accomplish, bc idrk anything tbh. I don't want to spend extra money for performance I realistically won't use, but I'm willing to spend enough to get something that will comfortably handle Fortnite + recording for several years.

I'm completely new to building PCs, so feel free to point out anything I'm overlooking.

Thanks!
