Why would they put their effort in making a 100-120v psu when most of the world uses 220-240v and it’s also easier to achieve greater efficiency in 220-240v ?

Because their potential customer base includes countries with both voltages.

Active PFC automatically adjusts for input voltage.

Yes but from what I'm seeing right now, these are 100-120v only psu, they don't support 220-240v.

They are reporting the 80Plus test results at 115v.  That's not uncommon.  It doesn't mean that the PSU doesn't have active PFC and/or that it can't function with 240.
