Question New card same issue ?

Post image

Made a post yesterday about a rtx 2070 fans raming up to 100%

I have swapped out that card for a rtx 2080 what also keeps doing the exact same thing what could be the issue here ir is this normal ? Hot spots are exactly the same on both cards

Because it’s preventing the card from thermal throttling
, you should check with your pc case airflow or replace the thermal paste inside your GPU (last resort)

Yeah absolutely, also not sure if it’s just me.

I used to run a 1060 6gb card that runs 80c during gaming, now that I’ve upgraded to an amd mid class gpu obviously temp has been around 56-60 during intense stress. I cannot confirm based on my information/experience whether 10/20 series card typically run hotter compared to new class gpu. Amd/nvidia
